Type of sample clip - Promo

Sample Duration - Approx 35 seconds

This short sample is a montage of shots taken from various scenes in the film.

The final film was edited into two version lengths, both produced on the same DVD.

A full length version (for training purposes) and a shorter version showing the main highlights and an 'overview' of the new systems being introduced.
All scenes were filmed as versions of ‘real life’ type scenarios. Whilst the storylines and ‘criminals’ were in this production were fictitious, it was very important to show the correct procedures and new equipment to be used when dealing with such typical everyday occurrences.

Pre-production meetings
Pre-production meetings and careful liaison with key personnel were vital to ensure smooth running of the overall 5 day shoot.

Permissions
Virtually all of the filming was shot at actual ‘live’ locations, therefore special permissions were arranged in advance in order to eliminate any disruptions to the ‘normal’ day to day police business.

Security
Due to the sensitivity of many of the filming locations with regards to the Police equipment and systems used, our crew underwent full security checks prior to the main production phase.

The films large cast consisted mainly of ‘real’ police officers and associated personnel, so effective use of their time was paramount.

This method of showing ‘real life’ re-enactment scenarios and equipment in action provided a very cost effective, informative and educational way of presenting the information to a large audience
